With a background in Finance, a career in creativity wasn't on my radar. But the joy of capturing memories has sustained my business for over 7 years...
ONCE UPON A TIME
I worked in corporate finance, spending my days crunching numbers and selling wholesale retirement investments.
Boring, right!? If you glazed over at wholesale retirement investments, I don't blame you. It wasn't exactly a passion based job, but it paid the bills. I was desperately seeking an outlet during my time in corporate America.
I picked up a camera when I was 25 and the rest, as they say, is history.
If you're thinking "well sure, she takes great pictures... she's a pro and I bet she's been doing this forever."
Nope. I wasn't born with any special gift of creativity. In fact, I didn't pick up a camera and finally try to learn until I was 25 years old. I spent my entire life believing I was not a creative person. With an inclination towards math and a background in corporate finance, creativity wasn't exactly on my radar.
It turns out that with the right set of rules and a guidelines, and a framework for creativity, ANYONE, and I mean anyone can learn to take beautiful pictures.
If I've learned anything in my adult life, it's that creativity is a learned and nurtured skill, accessible to anyone.

I grew up in Tampa, FL but now I live up "north" in South Carolina.
I learned to sew in the early part of 2020 and have made 100s of garments for my kids since.
I'm an "extroverted introvert" and secretly could stay at home for DAYS and be content.
I pretty much only wear athleisure and I'm pretty thrilled about that. #lululemon4L
